Who am I and why am I doing this?
I’m a strategic branding consultant with over
25 years experience in marketing, advertising
and sales.
I first came up with the techniques in my
book over 15 years ago to better get “at” what
my clients knew but that they are just too close
to to use to their own advantage.
The techniques worked so well with my
corporate strategic branding clients that one
day I tried one on myself to help me solve a
personal problem I was having.
That worked so well, I started to do it for my
friends. Then they insisted I write a book about
the techniques. So...here I am.
In the meantime I was marketing vice president
at a number of companies including the
pioneering coworking place, Gate 3 WorkClub
in the San Francisco Bay Area back in 2004-2005.
(It was a great idea that was just ahead of its time.)
That experience solidified my passion for
wanting to help others who are “productivity
challenged” in their work, whether they work
for a corporation or they work from home alone like I do.
And it turns out that the same techniques I use with my current strategic branding clients work extremely well to help others who find it hard to stay productive in this crazy work world we are all in these days.
So whether you are interested in working with me to discover effective strategic branding for your company, products or services--the kind that gets you, your company and your clients excited about what your company has to offer or...
You want to discover a number of easy, effortless and fun ways to be more productive and creative in your work, take a look through this site.
The book features seven FocusCatalyst techniques--all designed to help you use rebellion and adventure to make your work--and life--more effective, creative..and fun.
I made the book a short, fast read on purpose. I’m writing a series of short books because I think a lot of us nowadays suffer from what I call “Perceived Achievement Deficit Disorder.”
We get a lot done but we don’t feel like we get a lot done. I find finishing a book (even a short one like mine that you can read word-for-word in 45 minutes) feels great. And helps to offset “Perceived Achievement Deficit Disorder” :)
