8 Questions and 8 Favorites
Step #1: The 8 Questions:
1. What is a project or problem you need focused action on?
2.What is a goal you have for getting it done?
3.What is an obstacle that’s keeping you from doing it?
4.What is an opportunity you’ll have by getting it done
5.What is an outside force you can’t control that’s affecting you getting it done?
6.What is a support you have to get it done?
7.What is an action step you can take on it in the next month?
8.What is another action step you can take on it in the next month?
Step #2: The 8 Favorites
List 8 of your favorite things.
You can pick any favorite thing of yours--like a favorite movie, book, job, family member, friend, sport, food, etc.
You do not have to pick your most favorite thing. Just any favorite thing in each category.
Use a different category for each of the 8 favorites.
And again, the faster you come up with answers, the better results you will get.
After each favorite thing, write two words or phrases why you like that thing. For example, say a favorite food of yours is ITALIAN. Two words or phrases why you like may be:
1. Comfort
2. Reminds me of my family

In the column to the right are the questions you answer in order to have a FocusCatalyst FocusCatalyst written for you.
They’re fun! And they only take 5-10 minutes to answer. In fact, the faster you answer them, the better.
Plus you can start getting insights around your project or problem as soon as you answer the questions. Look at your answers often while I write your FocusCatalyst CustomCatalyst. You’re likely to get powerful solutions coming to mind even before you get your actual CustomCatalyst in your inbox.
Use the first answers that come to mind for you.
Very important: Don’t try to give THE answer or THE most important answer.
Just use the first, quick answer that comes to mind.
Write short answers--a phrase or two, up to two sentences maximum.
There are no wrong answers. Any way you interpret each question is the right interpretation
And especially keep in mind: The faster you answer these questions, the better results you will get.
You should only spend 5-10 minutes in total answering the 8 Questions in Step #1 and the 8 Favorites in Step #2.
