FOCUS. The Catalyst for Innovation is the business innovation techniques book Betsy wrote for Silicon Valley companies. It’s based on the Neuroscience of Insight.

Betsy used all the techniques in Focus. The Catalyst for Innovation to change one habit after another in her personal life—from procrastination and time management to exercise, finances, housework and relationships, to finishing a project and getting free from screens—all the way up to and including easily losing 90 pounds and keeping them off.

Amazon Reviews of Focus. The Catalyst for Innovation.

5.0 out of 5 stars Burroughs approach draws from the best in class of neuroscience.

What I found most refreshing about Ms Burroughs work is that *It* is innovative. She presents tools and practices which she has been using (successfully) to uncork well worn patterns which keep our thinking stuck. FOCUS is quickly digestible and gave me tools I could use immediately.

Burroughs approach draws from the best in class of neuroscience, behavior design, marketing, game mechanics and psychology.

Focus is practical, do-able, gives tangible results and is fun! Seriously.

My suggestion for the next printing is that Burroughs includes a way to order her Random Matches cards. I want to keep a few with my at all times. And yes I can make them myself, and seeing the design of the book I know hers are beautiful!

Betsy Burroughs has a unique way of unlocking fresh insights with her Focus Catalyst approach. It's NOT the same old brainstorming approach at all.

She applies the latest findings in neuroscience to create exercises that really help you innovate.

You can also watch her TEDx talk online, which will definitely make you want the book!
